Events: A Note of Appreciation -To All Those Who Helped with
Numerous Stone Preservation Training Events- During the Year of
2008
Upcoming Events
: Past Events
I graciously would like to thank all those who enabled me, to hold
so many great and educational training sessions, and lectures during
the past year of 2008. Working in conjunction with numerous, dedicated
and wonderful organizations and individuals, has allowed me to reach
a greatly expanded audience.
It would be impossible to mention every person who has helped and
encouraged me in my overall mission, towards helping to preserve
our heritage constructed from stone and historic masonry. I will
however, mention a few organizations, which have contributed to
my knowledge base, and helped create an expanded network of friends
with a common cause.
And most importantly I want to thank all those who traveled to
be at my workshop events, in some cases very far, dedicated there
free time and often spent personal funds to learn about how they
could help preserve our heritage of gravestones, monuments, sculpture
and historic masonry.

lead two days of conservation workshops at this year’s annual
conference, in June at Vale Cemetery, Schenectady, New York
The New England Cemetery Association:
Where at there Annual conference in Durham, New Hampshire, I held
what was meant to be a power point presentation, until I found out
that my new macbook would not interface, which then turned my lecture
into a extemporaneous talk on grave stone preservation.

Where I held a gravestone preservation lecture last year during
the Barre granite Festival, and who also hosted the IPTW, where
I was a demonstrator.

of stone manufacturing and quarrying of granite in Georgia.
The Association for Preservation and Technology International:

Thanks so much to everyone else who I failed to mention here, that
was also a host and or involved in the planning aspect, and most
importantly thanks to all those who attended the workshop events.
Last but surely not least, thanks so much to Jenn Marcelais, at
Soul Oyster Studios, in
Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
Jenn has worked with me for many years, and been extremely patient
and incredibly creative. Together we have endeavored, to build great
websites, which are always in the process of being updated and improved.
